The Collective Sound Summer Academy is a rock/pop/electronic music camp that presents youth with an authentic musical experience in performance, recording, music videos, touring and the broad facets of the music industry. Over the course of three weeks, TCS provides attendees with a professional setting where students are involved in the creative process of writing/recording an original song,music video design and creation and live performance. We have a strong focus on the fundamentals of music and instrument proficiency. We also provide exposure to the climate of the music industry and the obstacles facing aspiring musicians. Bands or ensembles will be gaining valuable experience by working with their group to develop their craft and interpersonal skills. Group lessons, music theory, viral marketing, self promotion, home recording, music composition, midi/Pro Tools lab, and special guests are all part of our program. Students leaving TCS have a diversified perspective, increased confidence, and a guided creative experience.

The Collective Sound is a 501(c)3 non-profit that nurtures tomorrows creative innovators and leaders by developing music resources, programs and environments. These include summer camps, summer tours, after school programs, and media content. Our related programs are optimized by centralizing marketing, PR, accounting, production, administration and equipment/resource management.
